Does this router have a DLNA media server?
« on: July 03, 2012, 06:11:25 AM »

I got this router yesterday thinking that it has DLNA media server based on the product information page, but I can't find any control in the router GUI.  Am I missing something?

Please review page 53 of the user manual and let us know if that helps.

Thanks.  Page 53 seems to be limited to setting up the USB drive and does not mention DLNA.  As far as I can tell, this router does not include DLNA media server.

I did install an app called Shareport Mobile on my iPhone, which allowed me to play some *.mov files and view *.jpg files on the device.  It did not read any of my music files, though, nor play any other video file formats.

Other than the lack of a media server, I think this is a SOLID router.  Very compact and unobtrusive.

Howdy,

I do not have a problem with DLNA.  Can view photos, listen to audio and play certain videos on my Panasonic Smart TV.

Need to make sure the appropriate sharing of folders/files on your server are set correctly.
