Block Ports?
« on: May 18, 2010, 11:55:35 PM »

Well I would like to block one of my xbox's from connecting to xbox live, I want this xbox to be purly for media centre, and dont want any updates or any of that crap.

Anyways, Ive found that I need to block these ports:

TCP 80
UDP 88
UDP 3074
TCP 3074
UDP 53
TCP 53

So I went into my router log, found the mac address and added a DHCP reservation for that mac address, so whenever it connects, it will be given the IP 192.168.1.126 I was told I need to give the xbox a static IP before I can block the ports?

Anyways, I am stuck now... I dont know how to block the ports, if its easier to just block all internet access, I'd like to do that too, hell I'd prefer to do that.

Any help please?
