Does the 1.12 firmware fix anything besides adding shareport?

It's a good question.  I don't know but would like to know.  Can't recall if that firmware came with notes.

The static 40Mhz was a feature that I requested to combat the "never get 300Mbps" issue caused by friendly neighbor function that causes the router to abandon channel bonding on the 40mhz range when 802.11b/g beacons are detected by the router. I doubt very seriously if it will stay.

Lycan,

Why would this affect the 5 GHz band? All of the channels in the 5 GHz band are non-overlapping, so any "neighbor" wireless bands should be able to be bypassed easily with the numerous channels in the band, correct?
