VPN Connection
« on: January 30, 2011, 03:37:35 PM »

I just got a DIR-330.  It's working fine, but the VPN may not be what I expected (which is probably a problem with my expectations, not with the DIR-330).

I have a setup like this:

computers-><-DIR-330-><-Internet-><-Unknown Router-><-Windows RRAS Server

I can establish VPN connections from the computers to the RRAS server just fine.  But there are several of them, and rather than establish VPN connections for each of them, I thought the DIR-330 could establish a single connection that all the computers could share.  Is that wrong?

If it's possible to do that, I'm not sure how to configure the DIR-330 to accomplish it.  (When I try the VPN setup on the DIR-330, it looks to me as if it's intended for incoming VPN connections, not outgoing ones.  In any case, I don't see a place to put the public IP address of the RRAS server.  The only IP addresses seem to be local ones.)

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
