DCS-3220 questions
« on: February 04, 2014, 11:14:08 AM »

Hi,
I am trying out this camera, and have a few questions...

1) Is anyone else having a problem whereby this camera apparently locks up very often? D-Link's support FAQ's mention it, but I wanted to find out if this is a wide-spread problem.

2) I'm trying to FTP from the camera to a FTP site, port 21, but the message in the log file reads "FTP: Unable to connect to ftp server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx at port 5376" Why does the log file report back that it's trying to FTP to port 5376? I have tripled checked that I have port 21 set up.

3) This camera is an MPEG4-only camera - I have read that if not enough bandwidth is available to support all logged-on users, then the users won't get any video at all. Is that true? Will the stream not just lag?

4) Again, considering bandwidth issues - is anyone aware of a reflector type service that accepts the MPEG4 stream source from this camera? (or any other MPEG4 IP cam, for that matter)

Thanks to anyone that can help on any of these questions
