Can someone using gmail share their settings?
I have tried port 25, 465, and 587 with the secure box checked and unchecked. The same settings which work for individual cams does not work for the DNR.
Honestly, my opinion of the 202L is its a disaster as far as setup. Only the price point makes it worthy of keeping as there is nothing else sub $80 that can do what it does but the setup, support, and instructions are bottom of the barrel.

Any chance maybe something in this configuration may help any?

Thats how I set up my cams individually.
HOWEVER, for the DNR 202L the same settings do not work.
Can yuo explain in plain English?
DNS:
First thing, the settings for sending must be correct.
The user name/password are what is used to log in to the NAS shares from a computer on the network.????????????????????????????
For the port and SMTP Server see https://support.google.com/a/answer/176600?hl=en Although they mention printer etc. it is the same for the NAS.
The sender should be something to define the NAS (example: my.nas@myhome.com)?????????????????????????
SMTP Auth - see the info in the above link.
Finally do a test send to check it is up and running.
Don't forget to save settings and also set what information you want to get from the NAS box.
The receiver is your gmail name@gmail.com

I'll give this a try tomorrow or this week, I'm out of time for this evening.
I'll have D-Link review this as well.

Thanks I resolved it. Problem was I made a bonehead mistake on the user name, It needs to be the same as the email address not just the part before @gmail.com!
