Record footage with 930L and 932L cams
« on: July 29, 2017, 01:48:57 PM »

Just dug my 930L and 932L indoor cameras back out m they were used a little a while ago. However I only used them for live view when I wanted to check and email notifications.

So is there a way to record footage constantly off these to a cloud service, app, home NAS drive etc? This would be perfect with what I'm wanting to do and save me a lot of buying a new system, Nest or Ring etc.

What do I need etc please.
Thanks

Or get you a DNR-202L with a connected USB drive connected to it...

Would the software, D-ViewCam, work on a NAS drive? That would be ideal. I don't want to have to setup a server/PC just to run this

No, it has to be installed on a PC. Windows.

D-Link has DNS units that support a Surveillance plug in that can connect to DCS cameras and capture video that way.

I might check into a DNR-202L and a USB drive.
