Backup Status
« on: March 08, 2016, 08:33:36 AM »

I just installed a DNS-320L with 2 x 1 TB drives in RAID 1 configuration.
ShareCentre Sync is running on Windows 10.
Created a backup job and started is manually.

Some questions:
1) Is there any way of seeing the status of the backup job?  Log just shows its started, but nothing around % complete, time remaining, etc.
2) Looking at the NAS Volume, I can see the Status database file being updated periodically, so it seems to be running.
3) While looking at the NAS Volume where the backup is going, it seems that the file structure on the computer being backed up is being replicated.  Is this backup really a file copy as opposed to other backups that compress data as its backed up?

Thanks
