320 as UPnP Server and XBMC Eden as Client UPnP
« on: June 22, 2012, 08:02:57 AM »

Someone has used XBMC Eden as UPnP Client with Dlink 320 "standard" Media Server ? (DLNA)..

UPnP server works fine with BubbleUPnP (Android), but with XBMC Eden running on Windows or Ubuntu not work.

Thanks

I do not have an answer to your question. However, if you are a mid to advance user, I recommend fun_plug and "Mediatomb" which give you a greater functionality and flexibility as oppose to the build-in UPnP.

Corrected!!!!

fun_plug have an UPnP AV Server better that the build-in UPnP ?
Mediatomb is the UPnP server that fun_plug install ? or is Twonky Media Server ?
Which software use Dlink 320 from UPnP Server in the box ?

doh! Apologies! Meant to sat Mediatomb... Brain fart....
fun_plug is just a package which adds functionality to your NAS, then you add packages as needed, Mediatomb is one of them.

Mediatomb is free, you can also installed Twonky but have to purchase it.
Dlink has their own software, no idea what is called besides the standard build-in.

I upgraded the box version to 2.02 and now UPnP works fine.
