Title: DCS-932L has solid red and solid blue led lights on
Post by: alfcruz on January 28, 2016, 02:54:48 AM
Tried the procedure to enter in recovery mode, holding the reset button down while switching on the power until the ble led is off. But the blue led does not turn off for more than 30 seconds, as I tested.

Also, the camera´s body is a little more warm than normal, compared to my other cameras.

There is anything I can do to put it workin again?

The firmware is the latest, and the upgrade went fine. The camera worked for 3 months, then disconnected.

Thank you.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Same issue some time ago. The wireless chip has overheated. Solder joints are partly disconnected or crakced. Buy a new one or take it apart and do a reflow of the wireless Ralink chip using a heat gun. There are videos on youtube on how to do a proper temperature controlled reflow. Common problem failures of these cameras as I have had a few go same way. Always overheating wireless chip and breaking solder joints. Cheaply made I suppose but they were cheap to buy.
