Recovery screen - select firmware??
« on: July 21, 2014, 09:53:46 AM »

Hi there,
I'm really struggling installing the device. One I connect to the d-link wifi and try to install and want to log on to the dlinkap.local site, this screen appears:

"RECOVERY
 Model name: DAP-1320

 Hardware version: A2

 Device firmware version:   1.00b03, 29, Jan, 2013

Select Firmware

Notice:If you upload the binary file to the wrong TARGET, the router may not work properly or even could not boot-up again. "

When I click on select firmware it asks me to select a file on my harddrive... what file?!
Can someone help me please? I paid 60 euros for it and can not even install it!!

Thanks:-)

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

This should not have been seen if you just un-boxed this DAP. Is this a new unit?
