How do I run a 3rd party application on the DNS-323
« on: August 25, 2010, 06:14:52 PM »

can anyone help me?

I would like to install and run a 3rd party application on my DNS-323.  Of course, this is not an already created add-on application for the DNS-323.

(example.  running TrueCrypt encryption program on the DNS-323 to encrypt the entire drive)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to either install a 3rd party application or what format does an add-on have to be in to install on the DNS-323?  (i.e. instruction on how to create my own add-on)

Do you go into Burger King and ask for a Big Mac? LOL

You should probably read the "Welcome" sticky at the top of the forum http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=665.0

There is no way to legitimately run a 3rd party application other than those supplied by D-Link.

Having said that, there are posts here and there that mention FFP (Fonz Fun Plug). I'm sure Google will turn up all you desire, but starting a full blown thread on the D-Link site likely wouldn't go over well.
