Recognizing audio and video files????

So I recently installed the 320 on my network, formatted the hard drives and moved about 1.1terebytes of info onto them.  Now I am in the process of having the 320 scan the drives for the a/v files.  My question is that once this happens will my ps3 and xbox automatically see them?  The nas has been scanning for about 28 hours now and is 25% done.
