Title: Media Server Software and Vista 64
Post by: the.rocket.dog on January 14, 2008, 09:02:05 AM
Will latest version of MS software work on Vista 64 or even Vista 32?  If not, are there any plans to support it? ???

The D-link Media Server 1.09 software currently runs in Vista 32bit. The ActiveTV software is also supported in Vista 32 bit

Windows Media Player 11 is also a good server to use with Windows Vista

I have been running MS 1.09 under Vista 64 Ultimate without any problems for weeks now.

I also run Active-TV under Vista 64 but with Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 running a Windows XP SP2 virtual machine.  Works flawlessly.
