First sensations

NAS up&running since 3days with 2 2TB WD-EARX with RAID&JBOD and more or less 170GB used

- Configuration application on DVD freezing many times
- Problems configuring NAS Name until (it seems) "WORKGROUP" has been put into the local Group Name (same as the Windows Workgroup of the PC used to configure the NAS)... don't know if it was only a case...
- Tentative to format disks using DVD application returning 2 times "Format error, status=0" or something similar, finally formatted disks using WebUI
- Very long time to complete the Media Library Refresh (more or less 8500 photos)
- Successfully viewed (on a Samsung Smart TV 6series) an .mkv file after renamed into .avi (why???)
- Very speed transfers using FTP protocol
- ... (will continue....)

Summarizing: Difficult initial configuration but up&running&servicing
