How can I throttle one device?
« on: July 02, 2021, 06:56:35 AM »

Hi. I have the DIR-850L router, I'm on hardware version: A1, and firmware version: 1.05 Wed 10 Apr 2013

My XBox One is an absolute bandwidth hog. When it's completely shut down, my internet is fine, and all devices can access the internet just fine. The moment it's turned on, everything goes south. Almost every device seems to have trouble accessing the internet, slow speeds, etc. My main computer can hardly even access the internet with multiple drop-outs every time a page is loaded.

Is there any way for me to give just the XBox a lesser priority, or at least try and throttle it?

Thanks in advance.

Set up a QoS rule and give it a low priority.

I tried this, but it still didn't work. This is an image of my QOS page.
