My DWA-542 connects wirelessly to my DIR-625(D-link) N router. The problem isn't connecting. It has no problems connecting to the router after a reboot or basically whenever you want to disconnect and reconnect. While it is connected, at very random points(at least it seems random) the connection will drop only for a second, or sometimes less, and then immediately reconnect. This is VERY problematic when it comes to big downloads or online gaming. The NIC stays at around 65-80% on the wireless connectivity and random disconnects were never a problem on my old DWL-g122(USB wireless network device), which actually had less connectivity percentage. I've been changing which controls the wireless from Windows Zero Configuration or the DWA-542 software, but neither stops the random disconnects. The disconnects can be very spread out. The connection will be fine for 3 hours and then disconnect and reconnect for no apparent reason. Very unstable. The router is set to WPA2 security, no MAC filters or any port forwarding. The router is connected wirelessly to both this card and a laptop with a D-link N wireless PC card as well as directly wired to a third PC by a CAT 5 Ethernet cable. The disconnections have only been seen on the PC with the DWA-542. I live in a apartment complex and when I scan for wireless signals, I typically get about 5 or 6 other broadcasting routers from neighbors. I have changed the channel of my router to 1 so none of the surrounding networks will conflict each other. I have a cordless phone that broadcasts at 5.8ghz as well, but it was not a problem for my previous USB wireless network device nor was there this problem when I had a older D-link wireless G router. I looked at the routers logs and found some interesting messages regarding my wireless connection.

The MAC address’ are all my DWA-542 card. My wireless connection to the router started to randomly disconnect and reconnect multiple times at exactly the time these messages were logged. And the deauthentication messages always seem to apear when the random disconnects start. I had manually configured a static IP address for my NIC and I had thought that it had solved the disconnecting problem. But it started disconnecting randomly again with no changes made on my part. Before adding a static IP address there would be a message in the log saying that my MAC address was assigned a new IP among these messages shown. While connected, the log is full of these message as well

With lots of UDP packets being dropped and/or blocked also in the log. It will also Lag Spike at some random points and I’m wondering if it has something to do with these messages. I can’t figure this out so any help would really be appreciated.
