Is there a D-Link IP cam with FTP features like DCS-930L, but higher res?
Specifically, the DCS-930L and 932L are able to send (upon "motion detection") images via ftp, while creating half-hour folders on the server.
Is the a higher resolution camera that will do this function in this way?

for FTP triggered events-  The DCS-5222L does 1 hour folder by day.

/DAY/00/
/DAY/02/
/DAY/13/
/DAY/23/

DCS-2132L and DCS-2230 DO NOT.  Just goes into 1 big folder.  I usually clean it up around 4000 files.

Manual says 5222 horizontal FOV is 45 degrees, can anyone confirm?

Found 5020L has 30 min intervals like 930, but is not hi-res ...

FTP setup is also option under Snapshot.

This doesn't use event setup like the other box cams.  Some other division/developer wrote this F/W.

How would I measure 45 degrees?

Someone earlier like within a couple weeks ago, was complaining the FOV was too narrow and he could only see his couch.   ???

strange - the manual I got (where? don't recall) has the exact same front page. I'm in US, would UK model be different? Ohhh wait, the UK manual is v1.2 on page i, I had v1.0
D-Link is SO frustrating ... website too, with so many broken/circular links ...

should be easy to gauge, half of a right angle.
That narrow FOV would be good for what I want.

question is, is it that narrow BEFORE any (digital) zoom

I'm in the US too. I upgraded to the latest F/W on the US dlink website.  It was a page hidden or not easily accessible. lol

But it is there.
