625 Limited access WAN
« on: February 22, 2010, 08:52:14 AM »

Hi all,
I am having a strange problem w/ a PC conneted to the 625 WAN.

WixXP box requests IP (DHCP), 625 assigns but after few minutes it provides only limited access to that IP.

I get a WARN message in log file but shows the IP 192.XX as being requested by the PC and was assigned.

Every other PC has a simple LOG file but not a WARN. I get a WARN only on this PC and not any of the many others I have on this network.

The PC gets a limited connectivity connection via the WAN.

When the same PC attemps to get a wireless connection, the 625 assigns correctly and maintains the access.

I have many boxes on this network including XBox, Linux, XP and Win7 and they all connect find and the 625 maintians the IP.

I had MAC addressing on for some time, but now turned it off.

Was wondering if the MAC data for the problemed XP pc is conflicting w/in the 625 or something.

Shy of a complete retest of the 625, I have tryed everything.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

SK
