Push Notifications
« on: February 25, 2017, 08:15:54 AM »

I found out that I can activate push notifications for the movement sensor inside the cam on the details screen of the sensor in the Home app. But that means, it's alway on and sends permanent messages when I'm at home. Is there an easy way to only activate that when I leave home?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Hey Username-154,
Apple has not yet implemented this feature in Homekit app but they are working on it. Currently the only way to turn on/off motion detection is through the OMNA app.

@Username-154 Is it possible to set up firebase as your server to download some data and if a criterion is met, send a push notification to your app? If not, can anyone point me in the direction of how to achieve this?

Has anyone found a way to get push notifications to work? I've tried freezing GSF. The Push Notification Tester app shows a notification but notifications for other apps don't arrive. Thanks in advance!
