In Event setup, I have configured a Motion activated event to use a Server Type: Email. This is sending out notification emails, but the attached video clips cannot be opened with quicktime on my mac.
I've tried a couple of different video profiles including:
h.264, frame size 1200x900, max frame 15, fixed quality: excellent
and
MPEG4, frame size 800x600, max frame 7, fixed quality: good
With either of these, I receive a .avi file, but quicktime cannot open it. Quicktime definitely can open h.264 and MPEG4 files, so it must be a problem with the video profiles or the way the file is being embedded in the email.
How can this be fixed?
