Need some advice on getting subs towork with the 520. subs are .srt format and are named same as video file cant get them to work whats the trick ?

Please view this like for subtitle support instructions. This device will display English characters only so if they are foreign characters it may not be displaying properly.

The provided link was no help. My subs are in english they are in the same folder and are named the same bit I can never get subs to play through the dsm-520. They show and play fine with wmp 11 which is what I am using to stream to the dsm. Any other ideas ?

Are you using the Dlink media server software as your media server?

sry almost gave up on this issue decided to check back to see if any new info was posted. I am using wmp 11 to stream to the dsm-520 .

Use The D-Link media server from the DSM0520 support website this is required for .srt file support.
