having a wireless lag issue...
« on: July 06, 2011, 07:47:32 AM »

Hi to all. I have set my router (xbox 360 gamerfuel, etc.) up as suggested by furry. i am now having an issue with the router  whenever i am not using the connection actively, the connection seems to go to "sleep" and when i try to connect again, i get no response. usually the "sleep" state lasts approx. 3-5 mins. then connects.  not the end of the world, but mucho annoying. any help would be greatly appreciated.

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? WEP, WPA or WPA2? Preferred is WPA2 and AES.
