DCS-2130 FTP file name cannot use "/"
« on: June 26, 2013, 08:24:22 PM »

I cannot use "/" when specifying the file name.

For example, i want to use FTP name as : Volume_1/CAMERA5

I can use this format perfectly fine with other model of Dlink IP camera. But for DCS-2130, this is not possible.

Please advice if you have a solution.

Thank you.

Hi RYAT3, I wished you are more specified. I don't understand what you mean at all.

Anyway, like I said earlier I cannot name have "/" in the Remote Folder Name. Hence I cannot name my folders beyond the root folder.

I found a way around, which is to name the folder in the Server Address. For example :

Server Address : 192.168.0.100/Volume_1/Garden/Camera3

This works perfectly.

Hope this helps someone too.
