It's been a run. I wish things had been different up stream in the SB development section. I feel that it didn't get enough testing in the beginning to help find all the problems we found after it was released. We had such high hopes for the DGL line and this model router since the 4500 router which was great. Not sure if D-Link will do another DGL router as many factors are at play when designing and marketing routers. ISP speeds over 50 and 100Mb and the debate with QoS is one factor. Others as well. I hope current users have had good luck in there experience on this what was a bumpy ride. I'm sorry for those who didn't have such good luck. I'll recommend that if users are not having good experiences with there routers, if you haven't contacted D-Link about it, you may want to before the warranty period runs out and see if any if the problems can be resolved. If they can't, wouldn't hurt to ask for escalated support and maybe ask D-Link for an exchange to a different model router if possible. I can't promise anything. Worth asking though. The issues seen with this model router are not entirely D-Links fault and are with the 3rd party company who designed StreamBoost, QualComm. If they had done a bit more testing before integration pre and post, maybe some of the problems would have been less. Over all SB was a great idea and I liked the look and feel of the UI. Just the underlying code and operation didn't get enough testing and development on QCs part which is a shame. It's definitely left a bad taste all around making D-link probably not revisit that again.

I wish D-Link and there customers better luck in future. D-Link does have some good routers and the DIR series is good for gaming as well. I wish D-Link good luck in future development there and in there future routers.

Users are encouraged to continue posting about any problems seen and we'll do our best to help resolve them.

Good Luck.
