Email interval... Explain
« on: January 16, 2015, 01:27:52 PM »

Does email interval work like this.. If set to 5 seconds and there is motion for 4 seconds it will only send one email with the 6 frames detected in the first second? But if motion is detected for 6 seconds it would send a second email once the 6th second of motion comes? I have read peoples explanation when searching and Ive seen 2 entirely separate sets of answers. Thanks!

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I haven't come across any threads that were so granular in the details of the motion trigger/interval.  Aside from testing this personally, I'm not 100% sure.
