Hi FN, maybe one or two more questions :
Is it not strange that I can access my router outside home from "MyDlink" and not from the Router web page itself ? After all, from mydlink I can see all my network (but except the usb port). Should not the double NAT problem don't allow that ?

Also, setting up a dynamic DNS host name for my D-Link router (at www.dlinkddns.com) would not be a solution to get a SharePort Web access ?

I presume that mydlink is probably connecting on a port thats being traversed across both NATs. The only thing that might be a problem is that the USB connection works on a port that might not be traversing across both NATs. This is still a problem...I would ask your ISP if they can help you put the 868Ls IP address into the ISP modems DMZ...This might help out.

Web page as in the remote access page to the router or the local side access? I presume remote...

I think your NAT condition would still play a roll in the handling of DDNS...

No surprise, They are not going to change, individualy for each case, the configuration of their modems. But this is not a big deal for me actually even if it would have been cool to access my router/usb port from outside....

Thats a shame...

I wonder if this might work for you:
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=56866.0

You'd be using the ISP modem as your DHCP server...

Hi, I had no time to try it, but if I understand correctly, he first disconnect the router from the modem, then change ip address etc..., but why at the end he say :
Quote
Disconnected from the PC, and connected it to the Cable Modem
: does he means Disconnecting its router from the PC at the end ? doesnot make sens of course  ???
As I use voip (nettalk) for my phone I am a little afraid to just make it inoperative if I try to  apply these changes...

How are you using the 868L? still in router mode?

I have a VoIP devices as well. Only thing I do is to set a reservation IP for it then place that IP address in the routers DMZ. However if your still in a double NAT condition with your ISP modem, then not sure if that would work.

yes, seems it is the only way I can run it.
I have also set a DHCP Reservation IP for my VoIP device but, indeed, I cannot see the use of the DMZ router because it is still with double NAT condition... At least my VoIP is working very well.

AT some point, you might wanna try the Wired AP mode on the 868L..would eliminate the double NAT condition.
