Back with some results from other clients of the same isp :

Ubiquiti edgemax lite : 200-220 mbps
assus ac66u : 140-150 mbps
dir 825 : 380-400 mbps
my dir 868L : 370-380 mbps

The provider offers the tplink wdr3600 and claims it will do 900+ mpbs, despite inferior hardware; i have no input from other users on this unit. What an insane isp to push 1000 mbps using pppoe....

But i hope dlink will get their brains together and release a capable fw, there is hope for some custom fw also but that is pretty far away in time and not a sure thing :(

Edit
Surprise from a user with asus n56u :510 mbps, official firmware1.0.1.8j

Another edit : the n56u updated to latest official fw (v3 I think) is doing 850 mbps

You'll need to phone contact your regional D-Link support office and inquire about if the 868L is supporting those speeds on the WAN is. Please refrain from using in-appropriate language on the forums!!!  >:(

A beta firmware (1.05b01) from dlink is capble of 920+ mbps on pppoe connection:

Support send this fw to someone, but not to me; my attempts of communicating with them remain useless.
With newer fw, 1.06 or 1.07 is not going more than 350-380 mbps, so they know how to fix it but they chose not to :(

For an AC router, it should work out of the box at gigabit speed.  Why advertise 1200 or 1900 mbps wifi when you can't get more than 380 mbps wired ?!?
With that firmware linked above I get 920+ mbps, but I have other issues with it. If I play a song on my pc from my nas (local network) and start a speedtest on speedtest.net the song stops until the test is finished. This is not normal, asus n65u doesn't do this.
Also no fix yet for ipv6 dhcp pd.

AC wireless speeds are connections speeds between the router and devices that support those connection speeds. They are not actual data xfer speeds, you do understand that right? Actual data xfer speeds differ from device connection speeds and will never be as you expect them.

If your getting 920+Mbs on the wire then I would presume that your getting good speeds as designed by D-Link and the router is working as designed.

If your listening to traffic and it's stops while your doing a speeds test, then I presume your configuration on the router, QoS or the PC is not correct and needs to be adjusted. I prefer not to do any streaming while doing speeds tests as it can effect gaining accurate results. Wired LAN speeds testing is only recommended as wireless speed testing has to many variables that can lead to inaccurate results.

IPv6 problems have been reported to D-Link. If you have more problems with IPv6, you'll need to phone contact D-Link support and have them help you with IPv6 configurations.

I know what to expect from an AC connection, but explain to me how an 1750 AC is useful when the router is not capable of more 350-380 mbps wired with official firmware. Anyway, i don't really care about wirelesses. They have provided a beta fw via email for testing that is capable of 920+ mbps wired, but it's a beta and not everyone has access to it.
I do not need help with the ipv6 config, other routers work perfectly whith the same configuration; they know about this issue for months and no fix yet.
Start a file transfer from local network to the pc, then start a speed test; in my case the file transfer stops completely and the speed test is not reaching  its maximum potential (about 100mbps less); the netwok is not responding any more.
With other router the transfer speed slows down from 60 to about 16 MB/s, and the speedtest result is about 50-100 mbps below maximum; the functionality of the network is not afected. The qos is disabled for both routers, same file transferred, same settings all around.
Another test : torrent download; with dir 868L I got 70 MB/s max, with asus n65u 115 MB/s; same torrent file transferred. I do not consider this test relevant, to many factors involved and I have to repeat it 3 or 4 times with different files and trackers, but the start is not so good.
They are on the right track, but way to slow, and they are not testing properly before realising a new firmware.

edit: i see now that the link to the beta firmware was removed, why ?

Ok, thanks for the info. Unfortunately I was not able to find that version on a D-Link site.

I'd communicate with your regional D-Link support site to see if they will post it as a released version or include the fix for this in the next release.

All attempts made via support site remained unanswered :(
Yesterday I got an reply to an email that i sent at the only address from contact information on the website.
They asked for more info and I gave them screenshots, logs and saved config file, and detailed information about my experience with their product.
