Title: DIR-850L DLNA not working after FW upgrade from 1.07 SG to 1.09 SG

Hi Guys,

I would like to ask for a help on how can I get back to 1.07 SG firmware. I bought this router this week and was tempted to upgrade the FW to 1.09 SG because it was recommended for the shareport functionality. But after upgrading, i noticed DLNA (media server) is not working anymore. It was working before on 1.07 SG. Even if I flash the FW to 1.07 again from support.dlink.com it's not the same as 1.07 SG. I can't change or save any settings in 1.07 that came in support.dlink.com.

Can anyone please help. Thank you in advance.

I tried to upgrade to the latest FW 1.12WW from support.dlink.com but DLNA or media server still not working :(

Tekrum,

First, stop loading firmware that is not distributed by your regional D-Link office. http://support.dlink.com post F/W released for US Customers ONLY.

You can try visiting https://sg.mydlink.com/support# (https://sg.mydlink.com/support#) there, you should find firmware released for your region. I visited the site and the only versions I see available are:

v1.11
v1.09SG

I understand that this does not gives you what you want... so here is a link to D-Link's Global Support Downloads (http://tsd.dlink.com.tw) THIS COMES WITH A WARNING!!!  FIRMWARE FOUND HERE IS AT TIMES NOT QUALIFIED FOR DISTRIBUTION ON YOUR REGION AND MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY. how is latest update for my Dir 850 L ? In my retail box write : H/W Ver: A1 , F/W Ver : 1.07

The FW version posted by the OP is for a specific region and model router for his region and is not meat for retail models of this router.
