Hi,

I've bought the mydlink security starter kit. It came with the DCS-935L. It's in the mydlink home app on the iPhone, but I'm struggling to understand this statement on the URL:

Statement: Plays well with others.When you combine your HD Wi-Fi Camera with our other Smart Home devices, you can make amazing things happen around your home.

So far, I've not found any way to combine with other smart home devices. IT doesn't have IFTTT support (only the DCS-935LH does).

Can someone tell me what can be done with this camera to work with all the other mydlink devices (sensors / siren / IFTTT) other than the settings in the embedded camera config webpage?

• What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
• Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
• What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

May be that it only works with specific other model products. I've asked for more help and information this.
Any information the user manual or data sheet?

You need to use the mydlink Home app to set up rules.

What did you want the camera to do? Unfortunately this camera does not support IFTTT but works with other mydlink Home devices.

If you download the manual for the DCS-8200LH, there are specific instructions on how to configure the camera to work with other mydlink home devices (pages 15-32).

Also, make sure you upgrade the camera to the latest firmware (1.10B01) - http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DCS-935L

It's a DCS-935L
H/W: A1
F/W: 1.07 (on sticker) 1.10 (on device info in app)

I know this version of the app doesn't support actions, so I cannot see what else it can do to "work with others"

I will forward this to the camera people to see what has changed with the latest version of the app not working with this camera. 

What region are you in? I know the US does not sell these kits.

I am UK based

The camera was part of the Home Security Kit with the camera, two sensors, siren and hub.

It's an intermittent setup so far
