Greetings gentlemen!

Problem with my DIR615 started suddenly just turned on my laptop as usual and every time I type any www it goes straight to routers IP telling me that ethernet cable is not connected.
example of redirected address box after i type only google.com : http://192.168.0.1/redirect.html?status=8&error_code=0#http://google.com/

Most awkward that the message written in russian language.. Am I fu*ked by Putin?
I am so advance in these things cannot even attach the screenshot of my desktop to this post, so please be kind and help me.

Does the problem go away if you connect direct to your modem? If so, I wonder if the router's firmware is hacked. If it doesn't, I think you have malware on that computer. Try with a different computer or device. Either way it doesn't look good.  :(

PS. If you log into 192.168.0.1 (your router) is the webpage there also in Russian? I assume you aren't Russian.

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?


Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

What browser are you using? Try a different browser, IE11, FF or Opera.
Be sure to clear all browser caches.
