Title: DIR-635 log, truncated URL
Post by: gianni66 on February 06, 2011, 09:39:28 AM
Hi at all,
I set up an "access control" rule in my DIR-635 (firmare 2.33EU) and so I have all navigation log from a PC of my LAN.
But the URL in log are often truncated.
Anybody have an idea about this trouble? There's a way to obtain a full track for an user navigation?
Thank you guys...

Gianni

Hi,
I have the DIR-655 (North America, hardware A version, firmware 1.34NA) and I'm having the same trouble. When I'm logging, any long urls are truncated and important information is lost. I also tried to use a syslog server to see if the full url is retained in the syslog data, but that is truncated also.

Does anyone know a way to keep the full url?

Does anyone know if a newer version of the HW fixes this bug?

Thanks,
dj
