Will the DIR-615 router work with the DWA-542 Adapter?

Hi:
I am new to the forum and would like to know if the DIR-615 router work properly with the DWA-542 Adapter? I am reluctant to use the USB DWA-130 or DWA-140 as the usb adapters usually have less range..
