DAP-1522 (bridge) to WBR-1310 (router)

I want to connect my DirecTV HD-DVR HR23-700 to the internet.
I currently own a wireless router WBR-1310 and just bought the DAP-1522 to bridge the connection.

HOW DO I CONNECT the 2 devices?

I got to the set-up page and ran the wizard, but I must not be reading correctly, but I cannot seem to get a connect, even by wire-connecting the bridge to my computer.

Can anyone help?
