Well would be interesting to see if the 615 would work with a different modem to check. They are really good home routers. Just makes me thing that your seeing the same issue with OEM and WRT FW, that possible there is something else going on up stream. Keep us posted.

Okay ive hooked up my old combo unit (it was having issues with wireless, thats why i got a new uni)

its set to full bridge mode

and yeah....



i think i'll just return the 615  :-\

Line > Splitter > thomson(in full bridge) > 615

this is with wireless off, and just my pc connected with ethernet

Ended up just returned it and getting a combo unit, works perfect.
