Title: IR Illuminationa Strategy Help
Post by: BAMoh on August 11, 2017, 09:25:45 PM
I use a 942L with night vision disabled and placed inside but pointing out a window. This works fine during the day. At night I rely on  a security light to iluminate which also works fine. However, I have a wall which is about 7 feet away. With the current setup I can see everything up to the wall. How can I see behind the wall? I don't mean through the wall obviously but part of the street is behind that wall and clearly visible during the day. If I put an IR illuminator outide and mount it high, will the cam be able to see the street? How does the IR illuminator light interact with the security light? Will it work given the security light?
