I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I just heard back from D-Link and things don't look promising. Unfortunately, D-Link USA's hands are tied in terms of providing support or extending the warranty to a unit sold at a non-USA location. D-Link Canada maintains their own policies and warranty based on Canadian Law, precluding D-Link USA from providing intervening support. I'm sorry I couldn't provide more uplifting news.

The item has been transferred to our US office, and is actually sitting in at a US Data center in Port Huron, MI.

So how does one go about purchasing an extended warranty for a d-link product?
