Title: DNS 320L P2P client freeze

The P2P client freezes regularly. It shows the total download speed, and the per download speed, but they don't change anymore. This happens suddenly, after downloading perfectly for an hour or so. Only by stopping and restarting the downloads manually, or restarting the DNS 320L completely, the client starts downloading again. The log doesn't report anything about this freeze.

I suspect that the problem lies in too many p2p connections. But since there is no detailed logging, nor configuration of the amount of connections, there is no way to verify this idea.

Does anybody else has this experience with the p2p client and/or a solution?

OK...it keep CPU full load when it freeze....

My p2p client keeps freezing up most of the times as well. it is at a point where i cant finish a single download because it will freeze after about 30 minutes. Any help? i sometimes use D-load HD by dev.patey.net, the iPhone app, maybe that has something to do with it?

We are all suffering from this problem, I experienced this issue too. I hope there will be a solution in a short while as currently this feature is useless.

I've experienced that the issue dissapeared if encription is disable.

COuld anybody confirms that? MY p2p is running since last 8 hours without any problem.

what does encryption affect?
what are the benefits to implement it?

Not in my case. I tested disabling this option but same problem. However, last weekend installed hungarian firmware referenced in other post and for now p2p ok.

Yes, for now everything is ok. I don't know if there are problems with wifi because of countries specifications. I'm using wired ethernet.
The release is 1.0.2b01 and is mentioned in following thread.

In firmware v1.01b03 libtorrent 0.15.10.0 was used. In new firware 1.02b01 newer libtorrent 0.F.0.0 (probably some proprietary build from 0.16.x.y version of libtorrent) is used behind web interface. However, there's new torrent library behind and one can expect some bug fixes.

However, I suggest installing Transmission client on NAS which has much better web interface and much more features.

I have tried to install it several times, but i can't make it works. How did you install it?
