Title: dcs 930l motion dection not working
Post by: mritorto on July 12, 2017, 08:07:03 AM
guys I am having similar issues with the dcs930 version. I have been using the ivideon software to  notify me with streaming video alerts . I could not register it with dlink so that what i am using. I have the camera setup to send me pics when motion is detected.

I though I had motion detection thing fix when I set it to 50 % sensitivity cause at 90 I would get false positive emails all day.
The I move the camera slightly and now I bearly get any alerts I have increase it up to 75 but I was getting false positives. I am at 60 percent now.

It seems you get what you paid for. I got mine on ebay. I like the price but the functionality is not up to par. I can't even join it to dlink cloud service even when its connected to my router.

any ideas on how to fix my motion detection issues

What region are you located?

What FW is currently loaded on the camera?
What mfr and model ISP Modem and main host router are you using?
Has the camera been working before?
D-Link doesn't support 3rd party apps so you might contact this ivideon Mfr for help and information there.
Has a factory reset been performed and set up from scratch to see if the problem changes?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office for help getting the camera registered with the mydlink cloud services.

Not sure what you are looking at to fix.  Is there too much static/pixels in the image?
