Some ISPs handle the FW updates of some modems and are responsible for this process. Putting different or OEM FW back on to the modem could make the modem not work with the ISP who is responsible for maintaining there FW. D-Link doesn't have any tools users can use for this. If you have questions about your modem and it's use with your ISP, it's recommended to phone contact them about it and find out information about ISP proprietary FW.

Have you check your regional D-Link support site?
