i have a system of 4 dcs-930l which i use to keep an eye on my nanny with my 2 very young kids, i can hear sound while i am just looking at the main screen but i am not able to record anything(which is reason i bought these cameras in the first place),
The mic is enabled in the camera settings...not sure what i am doing wrong. I swicthed the sound preview to different channels and tried no avail? are there any other settings i am missing?

The sound also works on mydlink website and my iphone app, just not able to record.
