shadragon:
Simple Q.
In the router software, where can I turn off hardware acceleration?
Thanks.

* What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
* Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
* What region are you located?
If you refer to QoS or Traffic shaping, then you can disable both:

shadragon:
I'm at work at the moment and don't have that info.
Does the firmware version change the location of the hardware acceleration selector? That's all I'm looking for. Cheers.
FurryNutz:
I don't have this kind if information, I presume you maybe looking for an item that's with in the FW that doesn't have any UI or user selection on the routers web page. What is built with in the FW is only known to D-Link. You may want to contact them and see if you can get more information, however this model router has been EOL for a while now. I don't know if there was any open FW supported on it as it was a Ubicom based chipset which they didn't support any 3rd party FWs. :-\
FYI: Hardware Acceleration only existed in the DI-804HV and DI-808HV products.
