2nd COVR-2600R Router as a MESH Extender?
« on: April 12, 2021, 06:01:08 PM »

Since D-Link decided AFTER initially marketing the first COVR system as "expandable," to NOT grant the ability to purchase additional Extenders, I had to buy a complete 2nd system to gain the extra Extender.  I know how to add a spare Router to a standard wireless network as an Access Point by changing the 2nd Router's IP (in same subnet), disabling DHCP, and choosing a different SSID.  Those are the old days, and today we have MESH.  Does anyone know how to add my spare COVR-2600R Router to my working, in-production MESH network comprised of one COVR-2600R Router and two COVR-1300E Extender's?

The 2600 router can only work as a router or as a separate SSID AP in AP mode.
