DNS-323 with WDTV (Western Digital HD Media Player)

Has anyone tried using their 323 with the WDTV?
If I plug the 323 into the WDTV, will it see it as an external HD or is the usb port strickly used as a printer server, ups alert port, and/or usb backup port for the 323?
