Allllll of it? Probably not, but his main albums, yes. He has done a boat load of remixes though.

And yea, I am trying to see whats out there. I don't go to clubs or anything, and none of my friends are into electronica, and lord knows nothing good gets played on the radio. So when I am in the mood for something new, I have to look. There used to be tons of music sites you could just download DJ sets..back before DRM was king.

I have ALL ALBUMS and Mixes.  ;D

Ya, I got a lot. Used to go on road trips to look for music. Now mainly get it off the internet or ebay.

I just checked out WinMX, still going.  ::)

They should call you Furr-E. King of the Roll, eye roll that is. Heh

I will have to check them out. I think the one I used to go to was Ravelinks? This was 5-10 years ago though, completely different then current site by that name. Also Cheesecraft? Was a Happy Hardcore forum.

Oh, BTW, if you ever hear of a old Jungle set performed by DJ Onionz (before he switched to house) when he was at Club Nasa, let me know. Was the tape that got me into electronica and my friend lost it. 200$ reward out on it now. Intro break was a mix of Le Freak by Chic. Good stuff.

OK, so I'm having trouble with this new LED monitor.

Updated my graphics card but still the resolution isn't right and it's not making the most of the screen.

I was able to get it to only show 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch of "black" around the screen image but the text is not crisp and sharp so something is still wrong.

BTW, what is an Open CL driver?

<OK, Gurus, I have another problem.

I just got an LG E2360 23" LED monitor.

I can't get the resolution right on it.  If I run it at 1776x1000 the text is sharper and clearer but the image has a 1/2 inch to 1 inch border around it.....it's not maximizing the screen size!

If I lower the resolution it maximizes the screen size but looks awful because it's not in correct ratio and text is more blurred.

I've updated my graphics card driver but that didn't seem to help.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5770.>

First set your resolution to the native 1920 x 1080. Next, a tip taken from page 9 of the manual

‘AUTO’ Function? When you encounter problems such as a blurry screen, blurred letters,
screen flicker or tilted screen while using the device the monitor or after changing screen
resolution, press the AUTO function button to improve resolution.

Also, how are you connecting to the monitor? According to page 10, HDMI is configured best for AV equipment, otherwise they suggest DVI-D, so use that if you have it. Page 19 set Orginal Mode to Wide, and try with Overscan off (if still using HDMI). Last, make sure you refreash is set to 60hz, though it should lock it in at that. If that doesn't work, do you have the full Catalyst Suite? I also have two 5770's and I remeber some settings in there where you could override output settings. But I have display driver only now (too many conflicts with the Catalyst Suite and SC2 beta).

In short, allows for programers to program games that allow for better performance from ATI cards. Its software that let the video card take more of the load off the CPU. Your probably wanted to know if you should download it with the update= yes.

Thanks Harry.  Yes, I've tried all those things EXCEPT a DVI-D cable.  I don't have one but will run to Radio Shack and pay an outrageous sum for one.

OK, it was the HDMI cable.  My graphics card and/or the monitor didn't like it.  However, it works great with my XBOX.

I got a DVI-D cable at Radioshack for $30.  Oh well, it works so all is good.  I just don't understand why the HDMI cable wouldn't work.  I tried a couple of them.  I think it was the 1.3v but don't know if that makes a difference.

Thanks Harry!

Yea, think it has something to do with the Sync rate. Monitor is only capable of 60hz when digital, unlike the 2260, so your 5770 defaulted to the native resolution of 60hz which is 720, while 30hz is 1080. Simply put, 2260 is a monitor that works as a TV, 2360 is a TV that works as a monitor. Xbox's like TV's, video cards like monitors. Not entirly accurate but the best I can do without wasting your time :-)

PS. If you want to learn more, look up ddc/di in Wiki. Its admazing what kind of technology goes on invisible behind plug&play tech.

Hmm, random thought. Would anyone be interested if I work on getting a separate forum up and going? One with a chat room? Maybe a outbound message system. Does anyone have any domain they prefer? Suggestions? Its very much hypothetical at this point.

Great info and explanation, thanks!!!

Oddly, my 360 seems to work fine on this monitor.

But now I have another issue.  I got a D-Link DWA-552 Xtreme N PCI card and it's sketchy.....dropping signal, having to reinstall the software if I turn the computer off.  I'm sending it back to newegg.com.

Unless you guys have some suggestions, of course!   Edit, I found this...... http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=24065.0  Mine is a 64bit system.

Yes, I'd join your forum!

You could call it Hard Harry's House of Misfit Toys....but that sounds like a p0rno.

Good question, Furry, I don't know.  All our computers are 64 bit OS's and I didn't try it.  I'm sending it back to newegg.  No worries.  Too bad, too, it's a well made card but looks like it has incompatibilities with 64 bit Windows OS's.
