DIR 868L change SIP Port after shutdown
« on: February 23, 2016, 04:17:26 PM »

Hi

I'm not sure if this topic must be in this section, but I search for an answer in this forum and donīt find anything.

My issue with DIR-868L is that after a forced shutdown like an energy problem the equipment change SIP signaling port.  I use port 5060 to SIP in both sides WAN and LAN, however after a forced shutdown, when router is recovered, in WAN side always is a different port, it change from 5060 to another one like 8060, and even worst, it seems like change is only in traffic from LAN to WAN(5060 to 8060 for example), traffic from WAN to LAN it seems use 5060 to 5060 as must be (from this one I'm not sure yet).

I have SIP ALG available, however I try to disabled it, I try to port forwarding and none of this solution helps.

Any ideas about this issue???

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

Are you using uPnP if you have any port forwarding configured? Test with uPNp disabled.

What are you using that needs SIP? Any VoIP? If you do have a VoIP device, try placing it's IP address into the routers DMZ instead of doing any PF and enable uPnP and test.
