Adding a Disk to a RAID1 Configuration
« on: August 27, 2009, 09:54:04 AM »

If I configure the DNS-343 as a RAID1 Configuration with two (2) drives, and then add two more drives later, will the DNS-343 allow me to add them to the same RAID1 Configuration, or will it force a second RAID1 Configuration?  If so, I assume that means that it will also force a second Drive Letter mapping?

If I add all four (4) drives initially, will it allow a single RAID1 Configuration with a single Drive Letter mapping?

It will create an additional RAID1 configuration. The DNS-343 does not support a RAID1 configuration with more then 2 drives.
