How to setup Motion Triggered Recording?
« on: January 21, 2017, 07:16:10 PM »

I've setup a DNR-202L (F/W ver2.04.03 HW A2) and four 930L cameras. Everything is working fine but I am not able to set it up to record on motion.

Motion detection is enabled for all of the cameras, and an email is successfully sent whenever motion is detected on any of the cameras. I've got Manual Record turned off and there is no recording schedule enabled. I don't see an option anywhere to record on a motion trigger.

How do I setup motion triggered recording?

How do I setup motion triggered recording?

Under Setup (Gears icon)
Schedule-Recording Schedule->  click the green "RECORD ON EVENT", click ALWAYS (or else put in the times to record on event).

I'm recording 4 cameras 24x7, and when the cameras set off motion detection, I'm noticing about a  15 second delay  before the DNR202L picks it up.

Let us know if this works or not.

Ah! Found it - thanks. I set all four to record on motion trigger with a 5 second pre and 10 second post delay. Seems to be working fine.

I went to the DNR-202L website, clicked Camera->Audio and Video, on the right bottom in the Motion tab I clicked check box "Enagle Video Motion".
What is this option? Is it motion detection?
