So your in a double NAT condition while your 860L is in router mode is all. Single NAT condition is preferred with the 860L however you can alleviate some of this by putting the 860Ls WAN IP address it got from the ISP modem into the modems DMZ.

Just did as you said. Everything works as it did previously and I haven't noticed any issues so far.

What Mfr and Model # is the ISP modem?
