« on: August 04, 2013, 07:48:06 PM »

Good day, I'm having a problem with regards to limiting the bandwidth that devices connected to my router receives. Every time I try to save the settings I entered an error pops up. Your help is much appreciated.

Here are the screenshots:

Link>Welcome!
  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

Ensure that the values being entered into the Key boxes are correct and support for those boxes. Check the user manual for any value information.

Hello,

H/W Version : Ax (According to the router's webpage), A1 (According to the sticker under the router)
Firmware Version : 1.12
Region : Region 1, Philippines

I am using Chrome, I tested setting this up on Firefox, Opera and IE which was run in compatibility mode, I still get the same results.

I also tried to change the values I input under those 2 boxes, the same message pops up.

I recommend following this:
Turning a router into an AP.

Download the v1.14 FW update file from here:
https://sg.mydlink.com/support#
Use the FW update process to install the FW file.

Please do a factory reset before and after sending the FW file. Setup from scratch. Let us know if the error appears after that.
